overview

A bespoke  retreat on the South Wales coast in Pembrokeshire, offering you a chance to switch off from the pressures of everyday life; to take time to replenish and focus.

Carve out a week to spend with like-minded creatives, connect, and discuss all things creativity and writing. This retreat will have a focus on all things writing, but you are welcome to simply come along to take time for creativity in your own way as well.

Whether you are looking to begin journalling or writing to go alongside your images, writing a book, or simply wanting time and space to consider your path, this retreat could be for you. An open mind, a willingness to discuss and learn, and a desire to use downtime, space and nature to open up to your own creativity. Bring your notebooks, paints, camera or walking boots. The choice is yours to find inspiration in your own way. We are here to guide you in the process of opening up your creativity.

This will be a relaxed retreat where you will have plenty of time to make the most of your time in this beautiful location. Our accommodation is on the water’s edge. The ocean inspires and taking time to sit and watch the waves and be immersed in coastal sounds provides the backdrop for inspiration.

Sean and Margaret believe that everyone has creative potential and will gently encourage you to find your own creative voice.

Food will be mostly home-cooked healthy, in-house and we will all participate in our own way. Expect to help in the kitchen, laying tables or helping clear. Evening meals will be a shared experience.

There is also the option to simply retreat and find your own quiet space to be creative and rest. Some highlights will include:

  • Walks in nature from the house or time to sit by the shore on the private cove
  • Inspirational sessions, group discussions and individual attention
  • Film evenings
  • Plenty of time to simply unwind
  • Dip in the sea, accompanied by Margaret
