Photographer learning on the Isle of Rassay looking over to skye at sunset A few images from a bespoke landscape photography tuition day on the Isle of Skye. I photographed Michaela and Iain’s wedding amidst sleet storms, howling wind and then glorious sunshine this summer on Loch Coruisk. A photographer herself, Michaela wanted to experience landscape photography tuition on the Isle of Skye. So we set off for a 1-2-1 training day. We hit extremely lucky with a frosty, bitterly cold day where the ground was sprinkled with snow. There was not a breath of wind and the clouds were changing constantly. You actually couldn’t get a better day on the Isle of Skye for landscape photography tuition. We started out in the morning at Sligachan, an area which I love as you can access many landscapes easily. I thought that hopping on a ferry over to Raasay would be a nice idea so we headed over on the Calmac ferry. We popped into Raasay Distillery for coffee and a warm-up before heading up temptation hill, a lovely and really easy way to access amazing views as the sunset. Catching the last ferry back, we finished up at Sligachan as the sunset. Here are just some of the amazing landscapes we experienced along the way.
