Places to Stay – Isle of Lewis

I’m always on the lookout for amazing places to stay on the Scottish Islands. On this occasion, I spotted these amazing beach bothies being built at one of my favourite locations on the coast of the Isle of Lewis. Nestled into the dunes at Kneep, you can almost touch the turquoise waters from the doorstep. These pods are luxurious, well equipped for cooking, relaxing and also just sitting and watching the world go by. The location is second to none and made me want to stay longer.

At the end of October, when we stayed, the weather was typically changeable and we spent a really cosy evening in watching the landscape as the wind and rain whipped outside. I love finding these amazing little places to stay on the Hebrides and this one is top of my list for a cosy space by the sea.
