“Isle of Harris Creative Photography Retreat, Sept 11th-18th, 2024”
A bespoke creative photography retreat on the Isle of Harris from September 11th to 18th, 2024. This retreat is designed for creatives and photographers seeking inspiration and tranquility on the Outer Hebrides.
Led by Margaret Soraya and Lesley Lintott, the retreat focuses on individual creativity, offering photography trips and teaching various techniques, including smartphone photography, ICM, and long exposures. Participants can also engage in sketching or writing during the trips and even take part in the option of wild swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable self-catering facilities by the water’s edge, ensuring picturesque views and ample walking opportunities. With en-suite facilities in every room, shared home-cooked dinners, and self-serve breakfasts and lunches, participants will find both comfort and connection.
The retreat, limited to six participants, includes pick-up from Stornoway or Tarbert, food and drink, outdoor-led trips, inspirational sessions, and a boat trip to a remote island (weather dependent). Travel to Harris and camera insurance are not included.
