I’m passionate about helping others in their photographic journey. I encourage a mindful approach to photography and believe in making time for whatever lights you up. If that’s photography, then you’re in the right place!
Below are several options to work with me on a 1-2-1 basis. In this way, I can learn about your motivations and how you would like to progress. I’m able to help with a range of photographic genres, having photographed weddings, portraits, travel and architecture, alongside landscapes. My main aim is to encourage you and help you find your own path.

How photography mentoring works
I offer in-person and online mentoring. You can choose in-person 1-2-1s, half days or opt for the three-month mentoring programme.
All mentoring is based around what you want to learn and need. This could be anything from all the tech, settings and post-production for landscape photography to finding your creative mojo.
If you’re in the three-month programme, we set monthly projects to keep you motivated and help build your skills. The programme has limited availability.

1 HOUR ONLINE
Bespoke 1-2-1 Zoom Session
A targeted hour-long zoom call with Margaret.
Portfolio review to help with your style or direction in photography.
This session is personalised to your own needs.
From beginners to advanced.
£150HALF DAY
On location or 4 separate hours online
You will receive a questionnaire to allow me to tailor the sessions to your individual needs.
Travel supplement may be charged dependent on location.
Locations can be arranged throughout Scotland

3 MONTHS
Mentorship over a 3 month period
Four x 1-2-1 hour-long calls
One half-day (4 hours) in-person on-location workshop (Isle of Harris ) Accommodation not included.
